Saffron
Let me introduce you to Lady Saffron. This pretty girl has been
handed a rough deal in life. Saffron was in a home where she
was physically abused and suffered injury to one of her rear legs.
This is how she ended up at BARC (the city shelter) with no where
to go. In case you don’t know – when an owner turns in their pet –
they can be euthanized immediately – there is absolutely no
holding period. Lucky for Saffron - she happened to be in the right
place at the right time. She was able to be rescued and taken
away from the dreadful pound.
She is quite the little princess and has a very outgoing personality.
Sometimes it is very scary for her to meet new people – especially
men – but she calms down when she realizes that she is not
going to be hurt. Saffron just needs a fair chance to prove herself.
She would do best in a home with no small children. Saffron will
want all of your attention – especially to romp in the backyard. She
loves to do zoomies and play fetch with her toys.
