RIVA
My name is Riva and I am here to entertain you. Yes, I
may have come from the city shelter (BARC) but that
doesn’t mean that I am not a pretty classy girl. Being
the princess that I am, I did not do well in the confining
space at the shelter. The provisions were not what I
deserve – no comfy bed, no good food, and no one to
give me their undivided attention. Now that I am being
fostered in a home, my life is much better. I enjoy my
foster sister and I simply adore my foster mom. In the
last 2 weeks, I have gained 10 lbs. I am beginning to
get my curves back at my usual weight of 45 lbs.
Recently, I have started training classes, which
sometimes really cramps my style, but I think I am
catching on. I enjoy meeting new people and I am
learning how to behave in a crowd of other dogs. Life
is certainly different on the outside. I think I like it!
Now all I need to complete this picture is a home where
I know I will stay forever. I am looking for that right
home where I will be appreciated. I will be patient
because I do not want to end up in the shelter like I did
before. I am close to one year old and have had all the
proper vetting, spaying, and microchipping done so I
am ready and waiting and waiting and waiting. If you
are the one, come on down and contact Pat or
Kathleen with Treat Em Right Rescue.
