I am very young and small but very mighty – I think that is how I got the Calliope. I answer to Calli for short. (A calliope or a steam organ is a musical instrument that produces a big sound that can travel for miles) A short time back, I was left out in the cold and I was very scared so I used my strongest singing voice to get somebody’s attention. It worked because someone swept me up and took me inside where it was nice and warm. Then I got lots of good food to eat and a soft bed to sleep in. Back then I was nothing but a little ball of brown fur – now I have grown much bigger and more confident. I am beginning to develop my good looks as you can see in my pictures. I do not remember what my mom and dad looked like but I kinda think that I must have some shepherd in me. Whatever breed I might turn out to be, I will make a very loyal companion and be your best friend. I learn things pretty quick – and I almost have the housetraining bit under control. If you will just be a little patient with me and just show me what you expect of me, I will do my best to please you. I have been to the vet and got my first shots and some yucky medicine to take to get rid of my parasites. So in other words, I am beginning to feel really good. I enjoy hanging out with the other dogs and cats in my foster home. When we are not playing, we are curled up and taking a nap together. Someday I will have a home of my own – you might be just that person. If you would like to meet me in person please contact Pat or Kathleen at 713 861-1155 or you can go to www.cooperanimalclinic.com a to submit an application. I do look forward to meeting you. |
