Hi there – my name is Alarm – thanks for checking in on me. I am named Alarm because I was found at a fire station where I had been living since my family packed up and left me behind. I was more or less living on the streets but the guys at the station gave me food and cared for me when I was hit by a car. I still have a bit of stiffness to my rear leg but I am certainly back on my feet now. I have been taken in by a rescue who loves “snow dogs” and have had a chance to put on some weight and get my good looks back. I have even had surgery down there and got poked with some jabs like all good dogs have to do.
A few months ago I had a lot of my hair cut off – but it isgrowing back now and I am getting back that fluffy, thick black and silver hair coat that Huskies have. I love to play with those cute female dogs that is when I start to sing -- Woowoowoooo! - I do love to sing when I am happy. I would do best in a home without small children and cats – they can be just a little too much for me.
I am ready to meet someone who can appreciate what a good companion I would make. I just need a place with a nice soft dog bed and some good grub that I can call home. Since you stopped to look at my picture and read about me, I know that you would like me even more if you met me in person.
So contact my foster people at office@cooperanimalclinic.com or call 713 861-1155 (daytime) or 713 817-2234 (evenings and weekends). My adoption fee of $150.00 will go to Friends of BARC to help other dogs and cats who need homes.
