Acelya
Meet Aceyla (Turkish for azalea, the flower) who
deserves an elegant name – she is a beauty!
She is a nice fawn color with a beautiful black
mask and very tall and graceful. Somehow she
ended up at the SPCA because her owners no
longer wanted her – they even requested that she
be put to sleep. Fortunately, the volunteers saw
beyond that and contacted our Rescue group.
Aceyla was very frightened and confused when
we picked her up. She even suffered a cut on her
front paw while in the shelter and that just added
to her anxiety. She desperately needs to find a
foster home or even a forever home so she can
relax and be herself again.
Aceyla is around 2 years old and was obviously
used for breeding but those days are now over.
She is scheduled to have her spay surgery soon
and has been fully vetted and micro-chipped.
Aceyla has been exposed to livestock but we do
not know how much experience she has had.
