This handsome guy is called Aspen. He is a four month old Anatolian Shepherd. Aspen was taken into the Rescue group along with his brothers when they were very small at 4-5 weeks of age. Their foster mom did a good job of nursing them through puppyhood. Within a few weeks they were able to go into foster homes until they could be adopted. Aspen is the biggest of the group and weighs in at 54 lbs. at 4 months of age. His favorite play area is the wading pool – he romps in the water all day long when he is not playing with his foster sister. Aspen will weigh around 100-120 lbs. when he is mature. Because he will be a very large dog, Aspen will definitely need to receive some obedience lessons. But then again what puppy does not need some guidance as they go up? He has been fully vetted, microchipped and will be neutered when he is a bit older. Aspen will require a secure fence of at least 5-6 feet. He will do best in a household without toddlers because of his size. If you are interested in making Aspen a member of your family, please contact Pat or Kathleen and they will answer any questions that you might have.
